2 Installation

2.1 How to obtain KGoodStuff

KGoodStuff hopefully becomes a core application of the KDE project http://www.kde.org, well it seems it will never be as better as now it won't get and I didn't get any sign from the core team. KGoodStuff can be found at http://kgoodstuff.sourceforge.net/. The source code can be found on http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/kgoodstuff/ and the main ftp site of the KDE project ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde (if they do upload it). Alternatively they can be found (without garanty) on ftp://ftp.sad.it/pub/kde/local.

2.2 Requirements

In order to successfully compile KGoodStuff, you need the KDE version 2.x.x installed on your host. All required libraries as well as KGoodStuff itself can be found on http://www.kde.org.

2.3 Compilation and installation

In order to compile and install KGoodStuff on your system, type the following in the base directory of the KGoodStuff distribution:

./configure; make; make install
Since KGoodStuff uses autoconf you should have not trouble compiling it. Should you run into problems please report them to Jürgen Vigna.
